鶹 & the Public Shortens Name to 鶹

Washington D.C. – The 鶹 & the Public has announced that in 2021, the organization will begin doing business as 鶹 in honor of its Centennial Year. “We are excited to start a new century with a shorter, easier to remember name,” said Maya Ajmera, President and CEO of 鶹 and Publisher of Science News. “We are proud of the Society’s long history, beginning as Science Service, then moving to 鶹 & the Public and now transitioning to 鶹.”

With this name change, the Society expects its name to be easier to remember. No changes will be made to the Society’s social media handles. Our followers can still find us on Facebook at , on Twitter , and on Instagram .

The Society’s legal name will remain 鶹 & the Public.
